You’ve been getting the financial aid from the SRD grant for only one reason, you’re unemployed with no means of income.
If your circumstances have changed, perhaps it’s time to consider canceling your SASSA SRD Grant application, to give space for someone else who needs it.
Let’s dive right in.
Automatic Cancellation
SASSA reconsiders SRD grant applications every month, monitoring any changes that occur with the individual submitted details, hence, you don’t have to submit your application monthly nowadays.
If they find you now have a source of income, identified from the banking details you submit for the SRD grant, they will not pay for that month.
You might as well consider your application temporarily cancelled, until your circumstances change again, and you suddenly have no income.
Frequently check your SRD application status, to see if there are any changes you agree with, otherwise, start the process of appealing to rectify any false information.
